In Mission 2, the Kuun-Lan arrives in the Outskirts of the Hiigara System to find a heavily damaged Kiith Manaan Destroyer codenamed Bushan-Re.

Kiith Somtaaw have finished helping out with recovering the dead bodies from the failed Taiidan Imperialists invasion and have been sent to the borders of Hiigara by Kiith Manaan to find their damaged destroyed Bushan-Re. Soon after arriving, they realise that the Turanic Raiders are very active in the region, looking to steal the destroyer for any information and technology. Somtaaw begin by trying to find the Bushan-Re, while jettisoning the Upper Ore Canister to make way for their first module: the Engineering Module. They also detect fast moving meteor belts in the region and if the Bushan-Re drifts into one of them, it could easily be destroyed. It isn't long before faint comm echo's are being picked up by Somtaaw (the location of the Bushan-Re will be different almost all of the time), so Tactical advises sending out Recon's to go and scout the pinpoints. Soon after repair work begins on the Bushan-Re, some Kushan Support Frigates appear and are apparently indicating they wish to help. However, Fleet Command notices that they are sending no recognition codes and the Frigates turn into Raider Corvettes and attack. Before the Bushan-Re leaves, they hint at another derelict giving off an emergency beacon somewhere nearby. While sending in a Worker to retrieve the unknown derelict, Tactical suggests researching Holographic Emitter after analysing the wreckage of the ships. However, the Raiders also want to salvage the Derelict, so Somtaaw race to obtain it first. After the Raiders are defeated, they head off to find the Clee-San.

Another fairly simple mission, you have been tasked with finding a destroyer that is badly damaged and in need of repair. Begin by doing what Tactical suggests and build an Engineering Module so that the Workers can be upgraded to repair the Bushan-Re. Once the vessel has been found, move your entire fleet to it, as much of the battles to come will all be centred around the location of the Bushan-Re.
Once your workers have been upgraded to repair and salvage ships, begin repairing the Manaani destroyer, until several Support Frigates hyperspace in (like with the destroyer, their hyperspace location is totally random).
Added by FailMehSoon after these mysterious ships reach the Bushan-Re, the Kuun-Lan notices something is wrong because they aren't sending Kiith Recognition Codes. Seconds later, they will turn into several Raider Corvettes and attack the Bushan-Re.
Soon after the Corvettes have been destroyed, Command detects that a beacon is transmitting a signal on the emergency channel and asks whether the Bushan-Re sent it. They say that they've been hearing it all the time while drifting about in the sector. Time to find out what it is!
Workers are sent off to retrieve the derelict, but the Raiders also want it, so it will be a race. It should take little time at all to obtain the derelict and protect the worker. Once all tasks are done, harvest, rebuild and hyperspace off. Make sure to have 18 Acolytes, 10 ACV's, a mimic, 2 workers and a processor in your fleet.
