Fanon in articles
How to mark?
All fanon material in articles should be under single Section heading: ==Fanon==. All given informations must have also it's source given in article Source section, otherwise they will be deleted! It is generally accepted to create Alternative article if there are many fanon informations from various sources. Link to Alternative article should be given by {{Main}} template, after which short synopsis of Alter. page should be given.
What is disallowed?
- Mixing fanon with canon.
- Putting fanon outside Fanon Section.
- Giving sourceless fanon.
Alternative article
What is it?
Alternative articles, or Fanon Appearance Articles are articles created to describe possibly many fanon aspects related to canon topic. All articles with large amount of fanon informations should have their Alternative articles.
How to write proper Alternative?
Alternative article should be named as main article + "in fanon", for example: Karan Sjet and Karan Sjet in fanon as Alternative article. Each alternative article should begun with short introduction containing link to main article. Below can be putted detailed informations about topic in multiply fanons. Each Alternative article must be marked using {{FanonBOX}} template and be only in fanon category or one of its subcategories.
Fanon articles
Generally it is disallowed to write completly fanon articles, however it's permitted to write articles about major fanfics characters, fanfics itself, or an alternative articles. Each fanon article must have {{FanonBOX}} template. It's easy way to find that article is purely fanon for each person browsing the Encyclopedia. Such articles should have same formatting as standard articles, but they cannot be added to in universe categories. They can be only in one of Fanon categories (to see list of categories sww Category Tree).
