The RelicNews Community Forums (also RelicNews Forums, in past: Relic Boards, Relic Forums) was the unofficial forums run by RelicNews.
History[]
The forums were administered by numerous individuals including Pike, Sorak, Dyntheos, ionfish, Delphy, Moe, Soulblighter and ceejayoz. In the early days, they were known as the Relic Forums, but in October 2007 they were renamed to RelicNews Forums, because of confusion that the forums were officially run by Relic Entertainment.
The forums were a spinoff from the original fansite and, at the time, the primary mode of communication between members of the Homeworld fandom, as well as for fans of other games by Relic Entertainment.
The sites entered a gradual decline from 2009 onwards, and in 2017, the site was permanently shut down as a result of the site being on an extremely old forum software that could not be maintained, dwindling traffic and the high costs associated with the website.
