The Vengeance-class Assault Frigate was the frontal assault piece and workhorse of the Kushan, and later Hiigaran fleet. Named for the burning hatred in the Kushan's hearts after the destruction of Kharak, the Kushan have sought forth to destroy the empire that charred their world. The Vengeance was armed with four large mass driver turrets and two plasma bomb launchers, all placed at the bow. Based on the "Kudaark" design, the Vengeance is well enough equipped to hold off other frigates and corvettes. In the late Homeworld War Vengeance frigates were built in equal numbers as Ion Cannon Frigates. Mixed groups of these frigates were capable to stand against almost any kind of opponent.
