Vivendi Games is global game publisher, developer and distributor. Vivendi Games have got Worldwide Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles, USA, and International Headquarters in France. Vivendi games is a part of Vivendi group.

Currently Vivendi Games is divided on 4 divisions: Blizzard Entertainment, Sierra Entertainment, Sierra Online and Vivendi Games Mobile. Blizzard Entertainment become part of Vivendi Games in 1998. Company is best known from StarCraft series, Diablo series or World of Warcraft series. Also in 1998 Sierra Entertainment, game developer founded in 1979 become part of Vivendi. Sierra Online is one of newest divisions of Vivendi Games created to develop online games for Xbox Live Arcade and Windows. Vivendi Games Mobile is youngest division, created for develop of mobile devices games distributed in more than 60 countries.

Current Chairman of Vivendi Games is René Pénisson, and company Revenues in 2006 were 804 million Euro.

In year 1999 Sierra Entertainment being part of Vivendi Universal Games published first Homeworld game. In 2000 Sierra Entertainment commissioned development of Homeworld sequel to Barking Dog Studios. In year 2003 last part of Homeworld series published by Sierra Entertainment was released, it was Homeworld 2.
